I’ve had to give up on Facebook. This kind of stuff was making me nuts. Add to that they’re an evil corporation and it was time to reduce my participation to “very low.” Much better.
Facebook is in decline. Younger people avoid it because they see it as the domain of cranky old people. Anti-Semitism and hate speech is distressing, but you can take some comfort in the fact that no one under 40 saw it.
Absolutely shameful. And I was the one who was banned for 3 days!

So the post you were responding to is still there? Maybe it’s been taken down?

Keith,
Good for you in standing up. It’s appalling you should then be persecuted by FB. I came out of FB some time ago. I’ve lost electronic contact with some family and friends, particularly those abroad, and that’s a shame but, I just cant stand by and by continuing to use it, tacitly offer my support to such an organisation.
Best regards

Thank you Peter. The incident is making me look at FB in a totally new light. I’m there as a way to keep in touch with family, friends, and photography. Its politics are appalling.

I am so considering it now.
And this is why I am not on Facebook. We will have no personal opinions here! Sheesh.
Someone got very anti-Semitic. I got angry.

It’s distressing that anyone should see it, or mouth it!
And that Facebook would allow it.
