While I commend the honoring by the military to the medical teams and staff on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic here in New York City, I feel conflicted. It costs between $60-$80,000 per hour to keep a group of six in flight. Money that I feel could have been better spent supplying much needed PPE to the doctors and health workers here.
This was as close as they got over my neighborhood.
