Murray Hill

A lone figure stands at a street corner in a city, casting a long shadow on the pavement, with a storefront labeled 'Buttercup' visible in the background.

I know this is not a winter image, but I am laid up for a few days after getting PRP injections for my knees. Climbing the stairs back to the apartment afterwards, was a real struggle. It is freezing here in NYC, so I am enjoying spending the time going through my download hard drive and finding images that I missed and that resonate with me. This image was photographed early morning from the 21st floor of the Empire State Building. An avenue away.

I hope it resonates for you as well.

  1. That person on the curb looks pretty darn cold to me, Keith. Buttercup…sounds like a delicious bakery. Wishing you well with the knee recovery.
