The Real Liberty

_1040694

With Memorial Day Day coming up, and as I sit here watching, “The Flags Of Our Fathers”, I ruminate on what liberty means for me. As someone who was born in the late 1950s, my adolescence was shaped by the 60s and early 70s. The Kennedys, Vietnam, Martin Luther King, Woodstock, the Beatles, etc..  I still remember where I was when I first heard “Satisfaction” by the Stones.

Liberty,  is all these things and more. We have come so far, and still have so much further to go.
