The Chaff

There has been a lot of talk in some online forums concerning Eric Kim going “Open Source”. The photo industry has changed a great deal over the last few years. Professional photographers are not as respected nor given the chance to make a living from a domain that was once theirs alone. Technology has made taken the craft away and now anyone can put up a website, post a few images, and call themselves a photographer. People should read what Eric Kim has to say and why HE has chosen to do this. Instead of concerning ourselves with what others do, even if it does not affect our lives, I think we should concern ourselves with making our images from where we each stand as individuals. That alone will eventually separate us from the chaff.
