Herald Square 2261

After a hiatus of a few years, I am now back in midtown working. Having to familiarize myself again with the ebb and flow of humanity of this area, I am excited. Downtown near Wall Street was for me in many ways unexciting. If not for the “Looking On” project, I would have felt I was in a vacuous wasteland. Walking those streets, I yearned for the days back in the 70’s and early 80’s when it was. The World Financial Center was still landfill. A strange dessert beach set high above the Hudson. Now and then a sculpture exhibit would appear curated by “Creative Time’.

Like this woman, I am again searching, on my path to a destination yet unknown.
