It’s these moments that erase the boundaries of observing. It’s not always but here for instance, I like to be able to observe closer and not be confronted by eye contact…..either as a viewer or shooter.
I know where you’re coming from Don. Sometimes I don’t mind the eye contact. I like the confrontation. I like that I caught her at almost the point of full awareness. Here she was, seeking out a moment of solitude in the midst of the craziness of Herald Square on the first warm Spring day. I turned around afterwards, and she didn’t move or follow me with her gaze.
