It’s a nice moment caught without intrusion. I didn’t realize that you used the phone for much of your work, not that it matters but there’s something brewing over at IE and you just might be interested……
I always carry two shooters Don. Even if I have one of my Ms with me, I always have a small pocketable P&S for those situations where even a M might be an intrusion. I started “experimenting” with the phone a couple two or three years ago. That’s when I started having it with me all the time in case there was an emergency or something with my little boy. It’s perfect for situations such as this. A lot of small cams have those little focus help lights that draw too much attention. Especially in an enclosed environment. I don’t exactly hide what I do, but I would rather not shout too loudly that I am doing what I’m doing.
I believe the phone is a great tool for certain things. I find it somewhat liberating and limiting in what it can do. I like to shake things up. Switch gear/s. To be familiar with the unfamiliar. Not getting too comfortable. For me, it’s great to have choices when necessary.
