Jenny, I use a fairly wide angle lens, 28mm, and get very close. I like the perspective. I want the viewer to feel like being in the frame.
How do you approach people to take their photo?
Carefully! A smile sometimes goes a long way, but living in NYC, people just think you’re crazy. I shoot pretty quickly and carefully.
