Happy Father’s Day!

The future is in our hands and we have and always had a responsibility to the kind of world we pass on to our children. I’m not religious, but I want to instill in my son a respect for everyone who make up the greater community of humanity. Technology has made the world smaller. The differences between cultures are not as great as they were in the past. To coin an old phrase, “We are the world.”

No more stars and bars. No more shootings of unarmed men, women, and children of any color, race, or creed. This is not a Christian country. This is not a Christian world. No more religious zealotry of any kind. The explorations of the further reaches of the universe will one day prove we are not alone.

Lets look into the faces of our children and tell them you love them without conditions. Let’s take care of what we have here and each other.

For me, this is Father’s Day. Show some love. That’s what being a man, a father is all about.
