this is a bad part of town, Keith?
No Lois. This image was made under the Manhattan Bridge. There are marginalized people in every neighborhood, especially Chinatown. Lots of immigrants never leave the area for their lack of English. They are also not too concerned about garbage! This area, just around the corner, gets filled with food vendors and stalls.
So very interesting. Thanks, Keith. I know I’ve told you before, but I really love the grit of your photos. Really exceptional.
I have to get back to NYC to shoot.
