Do some of these just break your heart?
All the time. I don’t know why that I feel I need to photograph this lately. I do not feel that they are easy prey. Some might be, but I choose to photograph those that somehow move through society everyday. I feel their pain and hear their silent screams. They are within us. It is something I cannot ignore.
You have a big heart, Keith.
Thanks Lois. You know, as the saying goes, most of us are just a paycheck or two away from being out on the street ourselves. Some people just need a little help to get them on the road again. Some might not have the resources or contacts to find work again after losing a job, or have the strength and fortitude of mind to carry on. Some just need a kind word. Those upper 1% forget that it is the 99% that helped get them there. We all need to give back in some way.
