I am fascinated with his hands….getting something out of a candy box?

He looks so familiar. I mean he doesn’t look familiar because of his face or body. He looks familiar because of his stance. It’s not a 34th St stance. It’s a stance of how he is in the world. It’s the stance of being emotionally detached from the world. Many of us don’t realize that and many do. If your not sure, look in the mirror, see how your detached.

Maybe we don’t see it of ourselves, but others do………….

    • I would think twice about approaching a person standing like this. I was attracted to his stance and that he was standing in the shadows under construction scaffolding. Seemed like he was up against an abstract expressionistic painting. But then, there is his furrowed brow. Angry? Worried? Maybe he really needed that cigarette.
