Daniel, while my imagery is descriptive of a moment, I leave interpretations open to the viewer. I find it interesting what others see that I might not. Every image I do has a story of some kind. Whether to include it or not, that’s always a dilemma. Does it embellish or take away from the image? I’d rather let the image speak from an emotional psychological viewpoint. Please do not misunderstand. I’m not trying to avoid your question, but answer it by asking you, “What do you see? What do you feel?”.
what was going on in this photograph?

It looks to me as if the person on the left is confused & the other person is helping them, or maybe drunk.
Daniel, you are somewhat correct. It is the man’s daughter helping him cross the street. He seemed to have some kind of impairment, loss of balance.
There’s a beauty in the brutal honesty of the act.
Thanks Daniel! All the best for 2017!
such a very touching photo, Keith. Beautiful capture.
