    1. I took these from Nicole’s new work office, on Fifth Avenue in the midst of midtown. Perfect views of the avenue northwards and south. The light that late morning was fantastic. I could have spent all day there watching the light. I’m going to have to go back there.

  1. This is so foreign to my rural Minnesota eyes. The massiveness of those tall buildings overwhelms me. I find mega cities overwhelming in so many ways. Sensory overload. I need open space, a place for my eye to roam into forever. It’s a good thing we are all different and don’t all desire to live in the same environments. That all said, I appreciate the view you give me of a place vastly different from mine.

    1. My family and I try to escape a couple of times a year to the ocean. Infinite horizon. Alfred Hitchcock said that was his idea of happiness, a clear horizon. No clouds, no trees, nothing….
