This entire series conjures up the sensitivity of Stieglitz and Sheeler. I don’t mean copying or anything, just the underlying love and sensitivity you share with them. For me, it’s quite a wonderful experience to see your work
Thanks Don. I was starting to get a bit concerned that people would see it as copying. For me it is somewhat of a derivative experience. Trying to take their influence and move it forward, based on my own response and experience.
I have a love for the nostalgia of that period in history. Where photography was beginning to become “modern” in terms of technical aspects and aesthetic. The fledgling beginnings of film functioning as art and documentary.
