  1. Your portraits of buildings seem to make them more interesting and alive than people. I’ve seen many photographers do architecture and some really stunning images. Ed Bacon was a dear friend and we often walked the streets and he taught me to see buildings as a life force of their own. He would lean against the building and put his ear fast to it, then whisper something that I never heard. Often I feel funny when I lean against a building and listen to it breathe and maybe say something. The same living experience happens when I see your photos. Ed would be honored to see these photos and so am I.

    1. Thanks Don! This has become kind of an obsession of these days. I have been working on this series for years, but it really has taken on a life of its own. I feel that I see and feel things a bit clearer as I’ve become older, in ways I could not before.
