    My one set of grandparents lived in Newark, NJ. I loved going there–all concrete and hardly any trees–because I loved some of the porches that had these gargoyles on them. I was fascinated then, and still am. Such a great photo.

  2. There were hundreds of gargoyles stored behind the Museum Of The City Of New York. I believe a glimpse of them when young started me to photography and a long project shooting the gargoyles in France and Germany.
