A new theme for this blog, but this might not be the one. My old theme was retired and everything is different for me. Editing, uploading, theme. Please bear with me as I go through some teething pains.

Check. I was having problems uploading. I contacted WP and they told me my theme was retired.
Oh gosh. There go my hopes for not having to change. Ever.
Looks nice and clean. I always find it a bit wrenching when I change my theme but I’m usually pretty happy about it in a couple of days.
I miss the old uploader. Not crazy about boxes.
I don’t use the new boxes. I still use the old dashboard to create posts. I’ve tried the new “blocks” and I can see their advantages but I’m old enough to prefer sticking with my routine. Also, there are some things the new editor doesn’t do so well.
How do I find the old dashboard???
I accidentally switched to Blocks and got outta that real fast. You can change to Classic Editor, I think it is called. Look on the bottom right (if I remember correctly) and there is a button you can click that will take you back.
