I was on my way home after being out for a long walk. I have passed “Avi Deli”, numerous times before. It was recently painted by the street artist “Snoeman”. He has been decorating bodegas, ice making units, etc, in the neighborhood. As I approached, I saw this man sitting almost perfectly on the corner of the building. I was going to take his image on the sly, but we began making too much eye contact and decided to let it go. I got about a block away and thought, “Why not ask him.” I approached and asked, describing what I wanted and he was good with that. I did the deed, and showed it to him. I gave him my card and told him to email me and I would be happy to send him a copy. So far he has not. My printer is on the fritz, so I”ll probably get this printed elsewhere and just drop it off at the deli for him.
