As of noon today, with my mother’s wishes, she was finally cremated. The past week of waiting was terribly difficult. During that time, our beloved cat Janey passed away as well. Even though they never met, I like to think that Janey left us to look after my mom. Janey was a comfort, but in her decline, a reminder for me of my mom’s own decline.
I love you mom. I love you Janey. Every beautiful sunrise and sunset will always be a reminder of love and peace.
