A Short Story

Many years ago I was on date. Walking along, something caught my interest and I made an image of it. She said, “Do you carry that thing with you everywhere? Do I have to compete with that?”.

That was our last date.

  1. haha! Reminds me of those dog food commercials where the girl chastises the guy for keeping ‘dog food in the fridge?’ She is outta there!

  2. Yes, but I often do feel sorry for my long suffering wife, constantly stopping to wait as I frame an image, or discovering she’s talking to no one as I stopped a block earlier to photograph something that captured my fancy.
