Change of Seasons

Birthdays. A new one was a few days ago. Nothing like one, passing of a decade, to wake oneself up. Going through that now. I look forward to what’s ahead. I look back and see many footprints to where I am now. Though we have relationships, friendships, this journey one we all make alone, within ourselves. You can never turn back. Your road, though there may be side paths, is ahead. I remember watching an interview with Alfred Hitchcock. He was asked the question, ‘What makes you happy?”. His response, “A clear, clean horizon. No clouds, no trees, nothing.”

I look forward to making those tracks.
