Back in 2013, Olivier and I met in NYC for our first business meeting. We walked around making photos and talking. I kept seeing people with the mask on. I said to him, crazy people, afraid to breathe the air we all breathe. He looked at me and said, damn, you really are old. They wear the mask so as not to spread their germs to everyone. I didn’t say anything to reinforce my stupidity but I knew right away, I chose the right business partner.
Living in Minnesota, where we occasionally wear knit masks and scarves over our faces to keep the winter cold at bay, I wondered about the mask. And now you’ve answered my question.
Great story Don!
