Community

Part of what I like about photography, is community. While I might be involved in my own style doing imagery, it does not prevent, nor should it, from enjoying other forms of imagers that others do. When I “like” an image, or look at a post, I make sure to hit that “star”, “heart”, “Like”, whatever. I want that person to know that I was there. I might not leave a comment myself, but I enjoy the conversation that making images can provide. While I am guilty of this as well, the thing that I do dislike is the self-aggrandizement of those that feel that because they get a lot of “likes” and have many followers, it prevents them from commenting or at least showing support to others.

Give a “like”. It’s like a hug. We all need them.
