“Looking On”, Olympus Passion, November 2018

I am very happy to announce that “Olympus Passion” published a portion of my project, “Looking On, Watching the Building of the Freedom Tower”. Many thanks go out to Mauricio and Hugo of “Olympus Passion” for doing a great edit and a wonderful layout. Last, but not least, a huge HUGE thank you to Matteo Ceschi, fellow F/50 member!

This project came out of my experience of witnessing the tragedy of 9/11. So many images were taken that day. I was so overwhelmed with the events taking place before me, I never lifted my camera to my eye. Some years later, finding myself working downtown, walking by the construction of the memorial and new tower everyday, did this project begin to unfold. This is my homage to that tragic day.

  5. Congratulations, Keith! I am not surprised at the selection of your work. You have a gift for capturing emotions, humanity, for telling a story that resonates with those of us who view your images. Thank you for sharing this photographic success. But thank you also for sharing your insights in your words. Both make this one powerful piece. Well done.
